Vice-Chair .Hello Area, I attended the area sub-committees March 19thWe still need support from addicts in the Ozark Area. All Sub- committees have alot of things going on and running well. PI 9 in attendance. PI presentation at south middle school. has been canceled, but needs to be rescheduled. Phone line discussed. AASC 11 in attendance. Merchandise chair has been filled. Pre Registration flyers on website. Discussed May Birthday function. Need workshop topics for HOLP. H&I 12 in attendance Taking nominations for H&I Chair for 2005. Chair position up in May. Time change for House of Hope possible. Please take back to your groups nominations needed for H&I Chair. Next Subcommittee meetings will be April 16th at WDR . In Loving Service, Chrys B.
Secretary -Area Secretary position is up in May, so if you know anyone that would be interested, bring them to Area between now and then so they can be nominated

RCM -Two rooms will be reserved for Regional Business meetings. Regional Business meeting fliers were passed out. Letter from SMRCNAXX Host Chair read and fliers for rooms 800 number and updated Convention fliers passed out. Reminder to Area for Regional Donation. Subcommittee Reports:
H&I –Hello Area H&I met on Sat March 19th 12 addicts in attendance.1 meeting missed at Lafayette House. Ozark Center meetings are going well. McDonald Co. is going well. One meeting missed at House of Hope. Jasper Co Jail meetings will start April 5th at 7pm. men will go to the 1st & 3rd Tue. Women will go the 2nd & 4th Tues. the month. Allen F. had Jasper County sign a contract for 8 weeks ,meeting in the visitation area, then the meetings will go back to the multi purpose room or we will discontinue meetings at the jail. The Jailer agreed to let us see 4 addicts for 30 minutes each, Great work Alan F. We had a long discussion about the commitments that haven't been met. We are taking action to find some solutions. Kevin F. is no longer Vice Chair. Kenny C. was voted in as Vice Chair. H&I Chair position is up in April need new Chair in May. We have a Lit. order needing filled. ILS Renita G.
Literature Review – vacant
Public Information Hello Area, P.I. met on 3-19-05 there were 9 addicts attending. we have been asked by Scott Greening Center for a Lit. rack and so we will take one there on Mon. We had to reschedule the all day presentation for south middle school to this coming fall P.I. has been asked to see about a volunteer phone list to be added to the help line. I was told there were a couple of buttons not being used. We will be putting on a workshop at HOLP 2005. We are still asking for a list of professionals from each group if you can please give them to myself or Sandee A before April 1st so I can take them to Region in April. ILS PI Bruce
AASC – Hello OASC, The AASC met March 19th at 2:30pm at WDR. Everything is progressing nicely. The plane fare for our national speaker has been reserved and paid for. We have preregistration fliers available for each of the groups. We will be sending fliers to region with Pam M., and merchandise with Mark J and Jackee C. The long sleeve shirts will be in this week. The picnic portion of the account has a balance of $ 727.08 and the other function portion has $200.00for a total of $ 927.08 Sandee A was elected our new merchandise Chair, so all positions are now full. We have begun making plans for OASC's 25th birthday celebration and fliers will be ready by next Area. We will be needing raffle items from our groups. If anyone would like to help with this function please contact any committee members. We still are in need of Workshop Topics submissions from our groups and basic text donations for the new comers. Our next meeting will be April 16th at 2:30pm at WDR Hope to see you there We have 14 preregistrations in. In Grateful Service, Linda Q.
Group Reports:
But Do It -Greetings Ozark Area, But Do It meets every wed. at 6:30pm in the basement of building 2 at 1502 S. Michigan our average attendance is 10-18 people. Our business meetings are the Wed before the Area at 7:30pm. We have a donation of $38.22 for the Area this month. Note- Group voted to have the RCM vote her conscience for the Regional Service positions. ILS Billie W
Butterflies are Free -Hello Ozark Area: The Butterflies are free Group meets Thursday night at 8:00pm in Anderson at HWY 59 & Tatum dr. in the Housing Authority Bldg. We are an open smoker friendly meeting. Glenn P. GSR
Fifth Tradition - Hello Ozark Area 5th Tradition meets at 619 Jackson on Tue, at 6:30pm meeting attendance is up a bit our Treasurer will be cutting a check for a donation to Area sometime in the future come be a part of the oldest registered group in SW MO We don’t have a donation this month ILS Don C. Miracles Group -Hello Ozark Area, Miracles meets at 4th and Byers. We meet on Tuesdays at 8 pm and this is a closed meeting and on Friday at 6:30 pm and this is an open meeting. Turn out is good at both Our business meeting is the second Friday of the month at 7:45 p.m. and is a speaker's meeting at 6:30 p.m. On the last Friday is our Birthday night. Spiritual Principles - Group report for Ozark Area 03/20/05Hello Ozark Area, Spiritual Principals continues to do well. Meetings are held at 618 Jackson in Joplin on Sunday and Wednesday at 9:30 A.M. Our second annual Old Time Campout will be held May 20 – 22 – 05, I am including a flier with my report. We would also like to volunteer to host the next ASC. I am also attaching our groups’ response to Regional Inventory Questionnaire. ILS, Kevin F

Survivors - Hello Area, Survivors meets Mon. - Sat. at noon and Fridays at 8:00pm. We meet at 618 Jackson. our meetings are going well. Our rent is paid. We are trying to stock our literature and to establish a prudent reserve so we have no donation today ILS Shellie V.
Together in Unity - Absent
We Do Recover - Hello area we do recover meets at 1330 south wall in Joplin 7 nights a week at 8pm. these are open and smoking meetings. And midnight Fri. and Sat. if we have chair people signed up. Our speaker night is the 2nd Fri. of the month at 8pm this meeting is non-smoking. Our birthday night is the last Fri. of the month and is also nonsmoking. No Area donation this month due to our group being below our prudent reserve In loving service Mark B.
Sharing Session:

** Discussed phoneline having 2 extra buttons and possibly using them for people to get in touch with a live addict 1button
being for contactnumbers of women addicts and the other button being for contact numbers of men addictsPI will
discuss this at their business meeting
