Hospitals and Institutions – Hello Ozark Area, The H&I Subcommittee met yesterday at We Do Recover at 4:00 P.M. We discussed the workshop that we are having at the HOLP. All our commitments to the treatment centers and jails are going well. We are still taking meetings into Jasper county jail, McDonald county jail, Ozark center, House of hope, and Lafayette house. We do however need  some female support at the subcommittee meetings. We also have a nomination for the H&I chair. Renita G. I have turned in a literature order to the treasurer for H&I, which is well within our budget. ILS Chrys B.

Literature Review – vacant

Public Information –vacant

HOLP – Hello Ozark Area, We accomplished a lot yesterday at the subcommittee meeting. The banner will be ordered next week and the programs, name tags, and food will soon be taken care of. We had 6 briskets donated and are in need of two more, So if a group or individual wants to donate, please let me or Linda Q. know. We now have tank tops for sale. You can still Register but the cut off date is July 4th. We would appreciate it if anyone is still willing to help at the picnic. On a side note I would like to apologize for not sending a written report last month. I understand the reason that was sent back to groups but it seems to me that is why subcommittees have Vice chairs. Area wonders why addicts with clean time don't want to participate in service- it is my belief that the focus for the love of doing service is skewed and is made difficult not to get into the politics. I did the picnic for the love of NA and I volunteered my time. Recovery has taught me to have a life outside of meetings and things in life do happen so therefore, sometimes it is imperative to take care  of lives matters even if it means missing a service meeting and sending a representative. I am so glad that I have done enough service work where my love for NA has been enhanced and not jaded. My concern is for those who are scared to be involved because of the controversy we bring on ourselves. Thank you for letting me be a part of Narcotics Anonymous. ILS Nancy S.
