ADMINISTRATIVE REPORTS:
Chair Report: Hello Ozark Area:
I really don’t have much to report. We still have no secretary and several other positions are also open and have been for some time. We need these spots filled. We need to keep recovery alive and well in this area. Others before us worked very hard to bring this area to where it is. Please don’t let it slip away.

Vice-Chair Report: Greetings OASC: 5/19/07
This past month I attended meetings in Joplin. NA continues to welcome new and returning members into our fellowship. By the way – Bob R. picked up his 28 year key tag this last week! What a statement that recovery works when you follow suggestions of the NA program!
Earlier today I facilitated the joint subcommittee meeting from 1:30pm- 2:50pm. Several addicts attended this joint subcommittee meeting. It seemed to go well. In June the subcommittees have decided to have a joint subcommittee meeting again preferably on a Saturday before area.
I attended the C-Star H&I meeting with Don this past Thursday although I was 15 minutes late. I cannot remember from month to month whether this meeting starts at 9 or 9:30am. I haved marked my calendar for next month reminding myself that it does start at 9am.
If anyone would like to help with typing up May reports, I would appreciate the help. Thank you, those of you who have been emailing your reports to me. This helps a lot. GSRs – PLEASE be sure I have a mailing address and a phone number for a contact person for your group whether it is you or someone else. If any of you have email, and you have not been receiving minutes via email, please let me know your email address. I can mail a hard copy too, but I like to get the minutes to the groups as soon as possible. I do have a couple of extra sets of April minutes if anyone needs a set.
ILS - Shelie V, OASC Vice Chair
PS: H&I Chair did not attend today’s joint subcommittee meeting. H&I Vice Chair lead that portion of the meeting. H&I Vice Chair stepped down from that position today. Don was nominated by the H&I subcommittee to serve as H&I chair.

RCM Report: Hello Ozark Area: Here's my report from the April Regional. No much came up in Area reports. There was a new Area added to the Region called the Primary Purpose Area of NA. The RD report in attached. Open Form was interesting as usual lots of discussion about SMRCNA and what to do with it. The 2008 SMRCNA has no support from the Area hosting and they can't find a hotel in that area big enough to host such an event. There looking at July 4,5,6 in Jefferson City. It was also discussed about the possibility of disbanding the SMRCNA BOD, for lack of better term, but a lack of interest. 3 of the 5 Board members said that when their term was up in Aug. that they weren’t interested in running for another term, and no one else present at the Region that weekend was interested in being nominated for the Board either. There was also discussion about Special Interest Groups and the Special interest Dances at the World Convention this year, and none of it was very supporting. There was also discussion about the Rotation of SMRCNA and maybe it would be better to chose only 3 zones that SMRCNA would rotate threw instead of 5 and maybe just having it in one place all the time or just doing away with SMRCNA all together with there being plenty of other function threw out the Region now. There was also discussion again about what to do with Area donations to the Region. ONE area is still pissed off that when their Area makes a donation to the Region that their check isn't processed in a timely manner or it was brought up this time a check being lost. When they were asked, Why the just don't bring the donation to the quartile meeting of the Region? They said their Area didn't like setting on that much money from month to month, and that pretty much was it for Sat. Sundays Subcommittee Reports: Campvention will be Sept 14,15,16 and will be all speakers this year no workshops. He also reported that he was able to collect on a bad check from a previous campvention. The H&I report was pretty much basic stuff and about the learning days in May. Literature Review will also be at the Learning Days in May doing a workshop on the 2 youth IP's and is willing to a workshop in any Area wanting one. PI reported on the NA helpline that there is a $200.00 set up fee and then it's $50.00 a month $.05 a call and $.05 a min. and that the website was up an going www.showmeregionna.org I checked it out, it's pretty nice. This was the chairs last Region but they did have a nomination for a new chair. RSO reported that there were no increase in sales that sale weren’t down just no increase, and that they were looking at ways to increase sales. They have moved the office the address is 140199 Overland MO the phone # is the same 1-888-na 4 show or1-888-624-7469 and the fax number is 314-427-7001 WSR reported they are still growing and as always looking for help Ad hoc for incorporation said everything is ready he is still just waiting for the money and that will be up and running. Old business was voting Regina P for RSO passed, Ron M RSO passed, Jim B RSO Chair elect passed, Sherry J RSO passed, Sandra A RSO passed New Business motion 04150701 That the Show Me Region get a post box buy the July Regional that the Show Me Region gets mail specially for them . Point of Turning: Area:
We do continue to meet downtown Eldorado Springs at the community building on the corner of Spring street and Hwy 82 (Main). Mondays are doing very well and growing now averages of 8-12 addicts are not uncommon, pretty good for a nooner on a Monday. Tuesday we meet at 7pm and are averaging 18-24 addicts. Thursday we also meet at 8pm and average 18-24 as well. Child care has become somewhat of an issue, for it was a little disruptive, but we have been trying to deal with that as well as other growth issues. We are solvent, rent is paid, and literature has been ordered. We are including a donation of $20 this month to benefit area and do appreciate all the work done by our trusted servants.
Respectfully submitted, Danny S.
