Hello Ozark Area,    March 19, 2006

I will be attending Regionals the weekend of March 31st, April 1st and 2nd.  Anybody who is planning to go please note that this is not the usual weekend for Regionals.  I have not made the reservations for the room yet.  I will need that information today so I can do that this afternoon.

Today I need group votes for the nomination for RSO Board of Directors, John H from Overland (St. Louis County).  I also need the votes on the CAR from the groups.

Be thinking about nominations for RCM please

SUBCOMMITTEE REPORTS:

H&I, Hello Area

H&I met on Saturday the 18th.  The Laffette House needs your support from the women.  There has not been a meeting there in 3 weeks.  Mac Donald County is doing fine.  Ozark Center is doing well.  Jasper County needs women’s support.  Support is also needed on the men’s side.  We are finally back in after 6 weeks.

AASC Report to Area

March 19, 2006

AASC met March 18th at We Do Recover.  We finalized the plans for the Area Birthday Celebration on May 6th at Galena, KS.  Pete I. will be the speaker, H&I and PI will do a workshop and there will be a DJ.  Doors open at 5:00pm, Workshop at 6:00pm and Speaker at 8:00pm.  We will have burgers and hotdogs for sale.  I have emailed Allen a flyer to attach to your minutes.  Next OASC I will have flyers available.

Bucksaw is requiring a deposit on the rooms this year.  Jackee wrote a check for $ 313.40 for the deposit on the rooms for the speakers and the band.  We are still working on the main speaker and the Regional speaker.  We had picked a speaker and when we were finally able to contact him he refused because of prior commitments.  So we are checking with another speaker.

Sorry I couldn’t be here today.  My mom came into town for my daughters 16th birthday and I wanted to spend some time with her.

Greetings Ozark Area,

The miracles group meets on Fri at 6:30, at the United Methodist Church on 4th and Byers.  Our average attendance is 30-40 addicts per meeting.  At our monthly Business meeting we elected Lynn L. as Alt. GSR.  We are in the process of planning our 4th annual miracles campout.  The dates for this are Sept 8th & 9th at Big Elk Camp & Canoe.  We invite everyone to come down, pop a tent, and have same NA fun.  As for area issues, motions, and so forth.  This being my first month here, I need to play catch up.  I will be better prepared next month.  We have no area donation this month
