Secretary: Hello OASC, May2006 completes my commitment as OASC Secretary. I will be able to continue as secretary until another person is in the position. I am making plans to move to Tulsa in June 2006. I have enjoyed working with all of you while in this position. I have learned so much about NA and have gained a great deal of experience. Each of you I consider family and have been very patient with me throughout this year. I deeply appreciate all of your help. I am going to miss working with each of you. But you cant get rid of me that fast, I will be visiting often and hope to see each of you on those visits.

Hello Ozark Area April 23, 2006
I attended the Regional Business Meeting on April 1st & 2nd. Saturday afternoon in the Open Forum there were a couple of topics that were brought up that make it appear that parts of our service structure are going around the fellowship to make changes.
The first instance concerns WCNA and a decision that was made to make space available for special interest/common needs meetings to be held. This opposes the WCNA guidelines and the change was buried in the CAR.
The other situation involved the SMRCNA BOD and a decision they told a committee member they would make after they had spoken to the RCMs at Open Forum. During Open Forum there was discussion then the body was told the decision had already been made so what we had to say really hadn’t made a difference. This led to a long discussion on Sunday morning about who the SMRCNA BOD is accountable to. I would like to receive some input from this body about these topics during discussion today if it is agreeable with the group.
The last Regional to be held at the Best Western will be October of 2006. The hotel is closing to expand and will not be available to us after October. An Ad Hoc committee was formed to locate a new site for Regionals.
I will have names and resumes for positions next area.

Greetings Ozark Area,
The Miracles Group meets on Fri. nights at 6:30 at the United Methodist Church at the corner of 4th & Byers in the basement. We average 30 to 40 per meeting. Plans for our 4th annual campout are moving along nicely. The dates for the campout this year are Sept. 8th and 9th at Big Elk Camp & Canoe. We will announce more details as we have them. As of right now we have Jackee C. set to speak Fri. night. And for those who have attended our campout in the past, you know it’s not meant to be Over-organized. That way people can spend time with their family, and enjoy the weekend.
Also since last month I have been asked to act as interim GSR until we elect a new one. I personally invite everyone to come to the Miracles Group on Fri. night. To see what Old Fashioned NA Recovery is intended to feel like. We have attracted the consisted attendance of the Treatment Centers, both Ozark and Scott Greening. Also I would like to extend an invitation for All to get involved in the Area Service Sub-Committees as they need All of our help. In closing we have a donation for the Area of $23.10 this month
